This amp I build to give the bass speakers the damping and power they need. The frame was build from thick aluminium rods and stainlees steel plates, only the frame weighs 8 kilos! The amp is based on the Aaron 3, with many modifications. This means a lot of different parts, less feedback and of course less bandwidth (2-500 Hz).

The powersupply contains two toroidal transformers of 350 VA each and is pi-filtered with capacitors of a total value of about 0.3 Farad. I have never tried it fully on my speakers, but it sure sounds like an earthquake happens... This amp together with the van den Hul Revelation cables can easily control the Altec 515-16GHP's....
